CANADA / USA
Canadian Standards Association International (CSA) is an independent, not-for-profit organization with offices worldwide and a leader in
the field of standards development and application.
Visit www.csa-international.org
for more information on CSA.
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Standards Council of Canada
(SCC) have recognized CSA as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). This means they can test and certify products for both U.S.
and Canadian Markets, eliminating the need for duplicate testing and saving manufacturers time and money.
To help manufacturers, who want to retain two certification marks on their products for North America, this process is facilitated through
the Memorandum of Understanding between CSA and UL. Through this agreement we are able to use the following mark on our certified products
for the Canadian and US markets.
Several Greystone products have been successfully tested and certified by CSA and bear this safety certification mark for use in all North
American markets. Some of these products include the Current Switch and Sensor line, Power Supplies and the Current Valve line. Look
for the CSA symbol on the applicable literature.
USA
Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is an independent, not-for-profit product safety testing and certification
organization. UL has tested products for public safety for more than a century.
Each year, more than 17 billion UL Marks are applied to products worldwide.
Since the founding of UL in 1894, they have held the undisputed reputation as the leader in U.S. product safety and certification.
Building on UL's household name in the United States, they are becoming one of the most recognized, reputable conformity assessment
providers in the world. Today, UL's services extend to helping companies achieve global acceptance for their products,
whether it is an electrical device, a programmable system or a company's quality process.
The Greystone Current Switch and Sensor lines have been tested under UL's strict standards and have been certified to bear the UL mark.

EUROPEAN
The European Union (EU) has implemented a system to protect the health and welfare of consumers and users of manufactured products and
these products are identified by the use of "CE Marking". EU Directives and harmonized standards were created to ensure conformity to
safely and quality standards throughout all member states of the EC. These directives are voted into laws by the respective countries and
compliance is required by all manufacturers and importers.
Greystone Energy Systems, in conjunction with Intertek Testing Services (ITS),
has successfully demonstrated compliance of several temperature and humidity products to the appropriate EU directives.
As of December 31, 2000 Greystone products lines have been in compliance with the CE standard.
All products shipped to European companies bare the CE mark and include the Declaration of Conformity.
